MICHAEL L. DOANE received his B.A. from Kent State University and his M.A. from the Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington. He received his J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law in 1990 and his L.L.M. in international and comparative law from Georgetown University. While completing his L.L.M., Mr. Doane worked in the Office of Unfair Import Investigations at the ITC. He later served on the staff of the Vice Chairman of the ITC.
Mr. Doane has been involved in litigating Section 337 investigations and federal district court disputes. Mr. Doane also advises clients on trademark and licensing matters. He is admitted to practice before the D.C. Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Ohio, the Supreme Court of Washington, the U.S. Court of International Trade, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
